Hi, If your stomach hurts, switch to Goat Whey (and only one scoop, not one serving) I get so bloated with any kind of whey protein. Goat protein is the ONLY thing I can take without getting bloated. This means I am actually absorbing the protein, as opposed to my body rejecting it.

In regards to whey protein issues with people. I have the same problems with digesting it. It is a rich source of dairy, and I have done food allergy testing to find out I have a dairy allergy among a few other food allergies. Soy can also be hard on the belly for someone with a sensitive stomach, and makes most gassy! Your best bet would be a natural protein powder made without soy or dairy. Arbonne makes one with Pea protein isolate as the protein source. Good luck!!

Marcia - the nutrient profile of this protein shake makes it useful in multiple ways. No one specific time is best. That said, you already commented on some great times to have one. Here are some of the ways I've used it...

Drink it first thing in the morning for a quick and easy balanced breakfast.

Drink it pre-workout (30 minutes prior) for energy.

Drink it post-workout (within 30 minutes after) to replenish glycogen reserves and accelerate exercise recovery.

Hope this helps...

I have a question... I do not work out in the morning, but I see that Jackie, and her Sky Labbers are working out all day long. Is this a shake I take in the morning regardless if I don't work out until 7pm? Or should I drink it before working out? Is it more effective as a breakfast drink or as a pre-workout energizer protein booster?

Thanks!

Bevin - heat, light and oxygen diminish the quality and effectiveness of the essential fatty acids (EFA's) found in Flaxseed oil. Cold pressing helps ensure the oil does not oxidize.

However, other manufacturing methods can maintain the quality and potency of the oil. If you purchased your flaxseed oil from a reputable retailer you should be getting all the healthy benefits the flaxseed oil provides.

Hi, I acidentally ordered Flaxseed Oil, but I don't think it is Cold Pressed. Can someone explain the difference to me? Will the shake be less healthy if it is not Cold Pressed?

Thanks
